"Deals Was Kind of Misleading"
I was checking out the deals and they felt a bit misleading. It look like you’re getting a good discount at first, but once I went through the details, it wasn’t really what I expected. I thought I was saving more than I actually did, so that was disappointing

"Disappointing visit to the local store"
I stopped by the local Bakers Gas store to ask about a tank refill and pricing, and it just wasn’t a great experience. The staff didn’t seem very interested in helping, and something about it felt like I was more of an interruption than a customer.
I ended up waiting longer than expected, and when I finally got answers, they were short and not very helpful. Maybe ordering online is a better option, but after that visit, I’m not really in a hurry to go back.

My order from Bakers Gas showed up and the item was in good shape, so that part was totally fine. The tracking was kind of slow to update though, and for a couple days I wasn’t sure where the package even was... Shipping ended up taking a little longer than I expected. Not a terrible experience or anything, just feels like it could’ve been a bit smoother.

"Return ended up being such a hassle"
I tried to exchange a jacket that didn’t fit right, and the weird part is, it felt like it took way more effort than it should have. The replies were slow, the return instructions weren’t very clear, and I kept having to follow up myself just to figure out what was going on. The jacket itself might be fine for someone else, but the return process with Bakers Gas was frustrating. I probably wouldn’t order again unless I was completely sure about the size.

"Still Waiting for Them to Make It Right"
My order showed up damaged, and they kept saying they’d take care of it, but nothing ever really got fixed. I was promised a resolution more than once, and each time it just turned into more waiting and excuses. Frustrating, honestly.

I did end up finding what I needed on bakersgas.com, so that part was fine. The site was kinda slow tho, and a few of the filters weren’t super clear to me at first. Checkout worked in the end, just felt like it took more clicks than it should’ve. Not a bad experience, just could be a little easier to use

"Packaging could’ve been a lot better"
The box showed up crushed, and I could hear the parts rattling around inside before I even opened it. Maybe I’m being a little picky, but it just didn’t feel well packed, and I wasn’t too happy about it.

"Shipping cost killed it for me"
I was pretty much ready to check out, but then I saw the shipping cost and immediately changed my mind. Maybe it makes sense if you're ordering something bigger, but for what was in my cart, the extra fees made the whole thing feel not worth it. The site itself seemed fine, so no big complaints there. Just at first glance, the shipping felt way too high, and that’s why I’d only give it 2 stars. I might come back if that improves.

"Customer service really didn’t help much"
I had what I thought was a simple question about my order, so I reached out expecting it to be a quick back-and-forth. Instead, I felt like I kept getting passed around and given vague answers that didn’t really address what I was asking. It was one of those frustrating customer service experiences where you can tell nobody is actually taking ownership of the issue or trying to make things easier. After dealing with that, I don’t think I’d order from bakersgas.com again.

I ordered a pack of welding tips, and yeah, they did arrive in okay time, so that part was fine I guess. But the size I got wasn’t the same as what was listed, which was kind of frustrating. I was expecting one thing and then opened it up and it was, well, not that. Shipping was alright, but the order being wrong made the whole thing disappointing honestly

"Decent TIG setup, but support was slow"
I ordered a TIG setup from Bakers Gas because the specs looked solid and the welding advice they had was mostly on point. Shipping was fine, no real issues there. But support was slow to get back to me, and that got kind of annoying. I just had one question, and it took longer than I expected to hear back. The gear itself seemed decent, the info was helpful, but the slow response from support really stood out. Not terrible, just frustrating when you’re waiting around for a simple answer.
